Pre-registration! An alert!
Before you pre-register, you must read this from Hock:
"I would rather you not pre-register and just pay at the "door" when you arrive. Unless there is space limitations as clearly listed above, there is no need to worry about getting a training slot or space! We offer the pre-registration to control space limitation seminars as this one, and usually as a payment service plan, a means for attendees to pay the total seminar fee over two payments or two months to help folks out in their budgets. Also, at times government agencies need pre-booking to accommodate their budgets. Plus, people can use Paypal to pre-register.
If you do pre-register it causes us time, bookkeeping and paperwork. Plus, your pre-registration will often help inspire me to actually use up a business weekend to travel to a seminar city, anticipating it as a well-attended event - thanks to your pre-registration. If several people pre-pay and then don't show? Its is hard to calculate the loss for us. I could have gone to another city.
When someone pre-registers and then does not show, and then asks for their money back, they have little idea what time, effort, commitment and inertia their pre-registration caused us. You have done little, but cost us a lot. That is why we are reluctant to give full cash refunds. If you pre-register for a seminar and do not attend? Expect to:
--- Use those funds to re-book another seminar.
--- Use those funds to purchase our DVDs, gear and books.
