"The 1-9 Level Training Mission DVDs are the sheer nuts and bolts in progression order. These TM Themes provide: learning flows, progressions concepts which are recognized learning methods by education and sports pyschologists worldwide. And combat scenarios. The TM Themes are by far the most popular because they put the techniques together and show how they work in a bigger picture. Many instructors use the formats for seminars and classes. "Big Kahuna, I try to watch one training video daily. I realized I hadn't viewed one of the "Training Mission Themes Series" in a while, and the Elbow Hyper Extension Module just happened to be the first one I pulled out. I went ahead and wrote out a quick little outline and decided to dedicate an entire class to covering only this subject matter. I was able to teach the entire outline (attached) in one hour to small groups at NAS Meridian and Black Eagle. They loved it! I worked the majority of this material with them before, but they really seemed to appreciate slowing things down and really going over all the intricacies and subtleties of obtaining the arm, putting it in the best position for the hyper extension, and executing just one or two takedowns from the obtained position. I thought some of the advanced folks might be a little bored by breaking it all down to this extent, but the feedback from everyone was that they really enjoyed the class and learned a lot from the simple progressions of obtaining the hyper extension, executing it effectively, and setting up some expedient takedowns. Just wanted to give you some feedback on this older material. I now plan on doing one class a month on the various "Themes" and doing the same thing and see how it goes. It made my job, as an instructor, much easier by being able to focus on one key element for the entire lesson. All in all, both classes were very enjoyable for me to teach and well received by my students. Thanks!" Sincerely, The Dawg - Meridian, MS
